1. DARK PRINCE by Michelle Hercules
SYNOPSIS
There are only two ways a human can cross the gates of Bloodstone Institute: as a familiar to one of the Blueblood vampires who attend the elite school or as a snack.
Iβm neither, but I have to get in at all costs. My brother made a big mistake, and now I have to fix it by stealing from the most powerful and cruel vampire to ever come to Bloodstone, Lucca Della Morte. If that wasnβt almost suicidal, I need to get it done before the spell concealing my human nature wears off.
But I forget that Iβm only pretending to be a vampire. Iβm still human and susceptible to Luccaβs dangerous allure. His darkness calls to my soul. His savagery makes my blood sing. Iβm falling for the dark prince, craving him in a visceral way thatβs frightening and exciting at the same time. If he discovers my secret, heβll destroy me. And yet, I canβt help wanting to get closer. I never thought I had a death wish until I met him.
BOOK REVIEW
Michelle Hercules did a good job setting Dark Prince within the framework of something not overbearingly dark and deliciously forbidden. The world that the author created was addictingly intoxicating, lulling me into submission with the Bluebloods and Nightingales and many other representatives of the supernatural. I was instantly drawn into the mysteries surrounding the angsty story and wanted more with each turn of the page.
I steal a glance in her direction. Her stubborn chin is raised high, but her mouth is tense, and her brows are furrowed. Her hand is sweating in mine, which would be a major turnoff in any other circumstance. Sheβs terrified of what might happen in the feeding room. I wonder if sheβll actually try to drink from another human. This is going to be very entertaining.
Luca and Vivienne made a pretty entertaining couple. They met under dire circumstances, and neither was ready for the events that were about to unfold. But in the end, true feelings made all the difference as in any good romance. To be completely honest, their instant gratification towards one another felt a bit out of the blue, but one cannot expect something normal from the paranormal world, I guess. The pace of the relationship development was funny, too slow and too fast at the same time, if you know what I mean. I think, there should be more to the story between Luca and Vivienneβ¦ Itβs not like I couldnβt get enough of them. Rather, there was this feeling of some sort of disappointment over witnessing something so incomplete...
But! The world-building and the mysteries setup took the majority of Dark Prince, so maybe my observations will be reflected in the books to come. Letβs wait and see.
NOTE: Thereβs a sneak peek at the end of the book about Aurora and Saxon, and Iβm actually super excited for this next couple in the paranormal series.
2. WILD THING by Michelle Hercules
SYNOPSIS
Savage. Reckless. Wild. These are only some of the words used to describe me. Iβm all of those things, and I never wished to be anything else in almost 500 years of existence. Then she came along. Aurora Leal, the daughter of the High Witch and destined for that role. Sheβs practically royalty in the magical world, but most importantly, sheβs forbidden fruit.
I was taught never to mess with witches, and I had no intention of breaking that rule until the night she crashed into my life. I couldnβt resist the pull, and like an idiot, I succumbed to her charms. Now Iβm screwed. What was supposed to be only a hookup left a permanent mark. I ended up mated to the sassy witch. An eternal commitment wasnβt something I ever wished for, but when your destined mate is promised to someone else, thatβs a much bigger problem.
I only have two choices. Either I find a way to break the mating bond or Aurora will become a widow before she says I do. That will definitely start a war between vampires and mages. But the more time I spend with her, the less inclined I am to give her up. Damn, I guess Iβm killing some mages, then.

3. FORGOTTEN HEIR by Michelle Hercules
SYNOPSIS
Have you ever heard of the curse of the middle child? Itβs real, and it makes you invisible. Growing up in a house with three headstrong witches, I was usually stuck playing the mediator.
When I met Rikkon, I immediately felt a kinship to him. He wasnβt invisible like me, but in a sense, he was forgotten. We bonded over things we couldnβt control. He was struggling with his demons, and I was lost.
It was easy to fall in love, but that was when things got complicated. When I thought we could be more than friends, Rikkonβs past came to rip my hopes to shreds. He recovered his memories, and with it, the knowledge that he was never free to be mine. Someone else had staked a claim, a bond so strong, that no mortal human could break.
Foolishly, I made a vow to help Rikkon reunite with his true mate, not realizing that by doing so, I might have unleashed the wrath of Ellnesari in our world.
4. SAVAGE VOW by Michelle Hercules
SYNOPSIS
Five hundred years ago, I fell in love with a vampire. It was a crimson fever that consumed me. I gave up my home, my family, and my pack to be with her. She obliterated my heart at the first opportunity.
Our fates are bound whether I like it or not. If she dies, I die.
She may have a death wish, but I donβt. When she decides to risk everything for revenge, I have no choice but to stop her and find a way to be free of the vow I made. But surviving the dangers of Ellnesari together might not have the outcome I expect. Instead of freedom, I learn who Manu Della Morte truly is, and that reignites a passion I thought I had lost.
