Alex Moretti’s never had anything to lose. Kicked from foster home to foster home, beaten, broken and abandoned, he’s used to fighting for his own survival. The brutal challenges he’s had to face have hardened him. Made him a savage force to be reckoned with.

Callie Hart’s writing is one of my favourites! The author doesn’t hold back with her beautifully dark and gritty and enchanting words. Her books are filled with slow-burn romantic suspense combined with a harsh reality of the modern world. The thrilling and soul-gripping mix never fails to send my heart overdrive…

The Raleigh Rebels series took me on a crazy rollercoaster of all sorts of emotions! I was captivated through the whole ride, suffering from constant heartache and praying for the HEA for my precious Alex and Silver.

“When will we have given enough? When will we have lost enough? There’s no one out there, keeping track of how much pain we’re dealt… how much we’re asked to bear… and that’s the most terrifying thing, Silver. ‘Cause if there’s no one keeping track… then there’s no one out there to make it stop.”

I couldn’t believe the things Alex and Silver had to deal with throughout the story. Something unimaginable kept happening over and over again. Something that broke the main characters yet again but made them visibly stronger than before. Both of them were so bruised and battered, but they never stopped trying to support the other, to love and cherish the beautiful connection Alex and Silver were blessed to share.

“I love him so fucking much, every small, beautiful, broken, incredible part of him.”
“She’s the answer to every single question I’ve ever fucking asked.”

This connection was the cornerstone of this entire series. So passionate and intense. So deep and mature. Incredible!

The journey of Alex and Silver towards the so craved HEA was so fucking long and bumpy. But they made it in the end! I cannot talk about any of the occurred events in the three books because they were interconnected and any small detail might spoil the whole plot (and yes, there’re cliffhangers at the end of each book). So, I would highly recommend you check the finished series out and embark upon a dark but very thrilling and exciting path. The series won’t disappoint! The bond between Alex and Silver was one of the strongest I’ve ever known. He got his unfair share of misfortune, and she was a so needed constant in his painful life. Through all the relentless tumult, through all the soul-shattering heartache… Alex and Silver were the epitome of the beauty and healing power of true love…

Please be advised though, this series comes with lots of trigger warnings!
